About Khajuraho
Khajuraho's temples were built by the Chandela dynasty between roughly the 10th and 12th centuries, and survive today as one of India's most complete examples of medieval Hindu and Jain temple architecture. Best time to visit, and how many days
October to March is the comfortable season; summer gets very hot for a morning of walking between temples. One to two days is enough for the main Western Group and, if time allows, the quieter Eastern Group.
