Taj Mahal at sunrise, then Agra Fort

- Drive to Jaipur in the evening, about 5 hours.

Why an overnight in Agra changes this tour
The Golden Triangle is Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, and the single decision that shapes it is whether Agra is a rushed day trip or an overnight. A day trip from Delhi means arriving at the Taj late morning, when the marble washes flat in the glare and the crowds are thickest, then a long drive back. Staying the night puts you at the gate for sunrise, when the light turns the marble gold and the queues are shortest, with time afterwards for Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.
This itinerary builds in that overnight. Six days, five nights, private car and driver throughout, with a local guide in each city.
How many days do you need for the Golden Triangle?
Six days is comfortable: two in Delhi, one overnight in Agra with a sunrise Taj visit, and two in Jaipur. It can be compressed to four or five by cutting a day in Jaipur, but Agra should stay an overnight rather than a rushed day trip.
Is the Taj Mahal open every day?
The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays. We plan your Agra day around this, and will tell you if your dates need adjusting.

What is the road time between the three cities?
Delhi to Agra is around 3–4 hours by expressway. Agra to Jaipur is around 5 hours. Jaipur back to Delhi is around 5–6 hours, or you can fly the last leg.
