This eight-day private tour adds two nights in Varanasi to the classic Delhi–Agra–Jaipur circuit, so you end the trip with the evening Ganga Aarti, a sunrise boat ride past the ghats and a short excursion to Sarnath, rather than stopping at the forts and palaces alone.
The Golden Triangle, extended east to the Ganges
Delhi, Agra and Jaipur cover the Mughal and Rajput sights; flying on to Varanasi adds the country's oldest living pilgrimage city. The classic Varanasi visit follows the river's rhythm — arrive in the afternoon, join the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, then rise before dawn for the sunrise boat ride and a walk through the ghats and old lanes to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. A second full day allows the short trip out to Sarnath.
How do you get from Jaipur to Varanasi?
By air, usually with a connection through Delhi, since there is no direct flight on every route. We arrange the transfer and timing around your Jaipur checkout.
Is the Ganga Aarti included every evening?
Seating for the main Dashashwamedh Ghat aarti on your first evening is included. It runs nightly, weather permitting.
Is Varanasi safe and comfortable for first-time visitors?
Yes, with a guide. The ghats and old lanes are crowded and the streets uneven in places; a private guide and the option of a boat rather than walking everywhere make it comfortable for most travellers.
Can this itinerary be shortened to skip Sarnath?
Yes — dropping the Sarnath day brings the trip to seven days. We will re-quote either way.

5/51 week agoWe have used a lot of tour companies over the years and this was among the best organised. Every hotel was as described, every transfer on time, and one phone call fixed the single hiccup within minutes.

4/51 month agoVery good day out. Guide was knowledgeable and the driver excellent. The only reason it is not five stars is that the lunch break felt too long when we would rather have seen one more site.

4/51 month agoA lovely, well-organised trip. Only small gripe is that the morning pickup was fifteen minutes late on day one. Everything after that was punctual to the minute, so I suspect it was a one-off.

5/51 month agoWe had a wheelchair user in our group and the team planned every stop around step-free routes without us having to chase. That level of care is rare. Highly recommended for families.
