Arrival in Jaipur — royal welcome
- Delhi to Jaipur by road, about 5hr 30min, or a 1hr 10min flight.
- Met on arrival at Jaipur airport or railway station and driven to Samode Haveli, inside the walled city; check in and refresh.
- Evening guided heritage walk through Johari Bazaar and the jewellers' lanes behind it, finishing at a rooftop with the City Palace lit up below.

Day 2
Jaipur sightseeing — forts and culture
- Amber Fort from 8:00–10:30am, to be through the Sheesh Mahal before the coaches arrive.
- Jantar Mantar and the City Palace after a late breakfast, 11:30am–4:30pm.
- Hawa Mahal from the café opposite, in the afternoon light.
- Monument entry tickets are not included and are paid locally.

Day 3
Jaipur to Jodhpur — the Blue City
- Drive west to Jodhpur, about 5hr 30min covering 335km, with a lunch stop near Ajmer.
- Check in at RAAS Jodhpur, in the old city below the fort walls.
- Evening walk down to the Clock Tower and Sardar Market as the blue houses take the light.

Day 4
Jodhpur — Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada
- Full morning inside Mehrangarh Fort, 9:00am–1:00pm — the best-kept fort in Rajasthan, with a four-hour audio tour.
- Afternoon at the marble cenotaphs of Jaswant Thada.
- Late-day visit to the restored Toorji Ka Jhalra stepwell.
- The fort closes at 5:00pm sharp and has no fixed weekly closure day.

Day 5
Jodhpur to Udaipur — Ranakpur en route
- Drive south to Udaipur, about 6hr covering 250km, breaking at the Ranakpur Jain temple.
- Ranakpur's Adinatha temple — 1,444 carved marble pillars — takes about ninety minutes to see properly. Non-Jain visitors are admitted from 12 noon to 5:00pm; shoulders and knees must be covered and leather items are not permitted inside.
- Arrive Udaipur mid-afternoon, then a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 6
Udaipur City Palace — departure
- Morning at the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, entered through the Tripolia Gate and worked through room by room with your guide, 9:00–11:30am.
- Check out at 11:00am and transfer to Udaipur airport.

Access rules worth knowing
- Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur is open 9:00am to 5:00pm daily, last entry 4:30pm. No weekly closure day.
- Ranakpur Jain Temple admits non-Jain visitors from 12 noon to 5:00pm only. Shoulders and knees must be covered; leather items are not permitted inside.
- Amber Fort, Jaipur opens at 8:00am. Going at opening is the difference between a quiet Sheesh Mahal and a queue.
- The City Palace, Udaipur has no fixed closure day, but the Crystal Gallery keeps separate hours from the main museum.
- Physical difficulty is low overall. The exception is Mehrangarh, where the ramp to the upper courtyards is a steady 20-minute climb; a lift is available for visitors who need it.
