This six-day Uttar Pradesh pilgrimage links four sacred sites — Varanasi's ghats and Ganga Aarti, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, the Sangam at Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot — as a private tour by road across the state.
Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot
These four Uttar Pradesh pilgrimage sites — Varanasi on the Ganges, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, the Sangam confluence at Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot — are commonly combined into one circuit, connected by improved highways across the state. This six-day version gives two nights to Varanasi's fuller classic length and a night each to the other three.
How far is Ayodhya from Varanasi?
About 4–5 hours by road.
What is the Sangam at Prayagraj?
The confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers (with the Saraswati traditionally said to join unseen), a major pilgrimage bathing site, especially during the Magh Mela and Kumbh Mela.
Can this trip be shortened to skip Chitrakoot?
Yes, bringing it to a five-day Varanasi–Ayodhya–Prayagraj version; ask and we will re-quote.

4/51 week agoWell run and good value. The tea stop was a highlight and the guide's recommendations for dinner were excellent. Traffic getting back into the city was rough, but that is hardly their fault.

5/51 month agoWe have used a lot of tour companies over the years and this was among the best organised. Every hotel was as described, every transfer on time, and one phone call fixed the single hiccup within minutes.

4/51 month agoA smooth, well-thought-out trip. The hotels were lovely, the driving was long some days, and one stretch of road was tiring — but they warned us about that, and the stops along the way made it bearable.
