These four Uttar Pradesh pilgrimage sites — Varanasi on the Ganges, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, the Sangam confluence at Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot — are commonly combined into one circuit, connected by improved highways across the state. This six-day version gives two nights to Varanasi's fuller classic length and a night each to the other three.

What is the Sangam at Prayagraj?
The confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers (with the Saraswati traditionally said to join unseen), a major pilgrimage bathing site, especially during the Magh Mela and Kumbh Mela.
Can this trip be shortened to skip Chitrakoot?
